Services
Massage is manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments). People seek massage therapy for a variety of reasons – to reduce stress and anxiety, relax muscles, rehabilitate injuries, reduce pain, and promote overall health and wellness. Our approach provides a skilled, performance-driven massage that will impact the goals you communicate with your therapist.
Acupuncture is a holistic treatment that accounts for the physical and mental aspects of overall health. By inserting thin, sterile needles to stimulate specified points on the body, the brain initiates healing capabilities inherently within you. This safe, effective treatment promotes health/healing from the inside out. Most people consider acupuncture to be a remarkably relaxing experience and barely feel the needles (approximately the thickness of a whisker).
Chair Massage is available for your team meetings or special events. Show your appreciation for hard work by arranging a chair massage event to help your team unwind. To coordinate this service, please email contact@functionmn.com or call 952.417.6433 to discuss your needs. Cost is $65/hour for each therapist. A therapist will ideally work on 4-6 people (max 10) per hour depending on your group size, time constraints and desired format.
Payment Process
Payment information is captured when booking your appointment online. Following your session, we’ll confirm the card you’d like to have processed and email you a receipt. You are more than welcome to hold your session with an FSA debit card if this is what you plan to use for payment.
Tipping
Tips are accepted (but never expected) on massage services that meet high expectations. If you would like to leave a tip on your captured card on file, please inform your provider at the end of your session so it can be added when processing your payment. (Tips cannot be added on FSA cards)
Health and Flex Spending Accounts
We can process FSA debit cards and provide receipt documentation necessary to clear these transactions for approved services. Some carriers require that a massage be prescribed to approve your flex dollars for that service. Be sure when paying to inform us that you are using a benefits debit card so we DO NOT apply sales tax that is imposed on non-prescribed massage. You are liable for paying back your health spending account for any services they deem not qualified within your coverage.
Insurance Reimbursement (Health, Auto, Work Comp)
We can provide you with a Superbill to be reimbursed for our services. To keep pricing low and provide an efficient experience, we are not able to bill insurance directly from the Target location. We are more than happy to help you through the process of getting reimbursed – if you have any questions, please inquire at contact@functionmn.com or 952.417.6433.
